1½ | pounds potatoes, peeled and diced |
¼ | cup onion, diced |
3 | cloves garlic, minced |
1½ | tablespoons cumin |
1½ | teaspoon salt |
¾ | teaspoon black pepper |
1 | 8-ounce can tomato sauce |

1. Brown beef in pan over medium high heat, about 7 minutes. Add onions and cook until translucent, about 5 minutes. Add garlic and cook 1 minute. Add spices and stir. Add potatoes and stir until thoroughly mixed. Add tomato sauce and enough water to cover meat and potato mixture. Cover and let simmer until potatoes are soft, about 15 minutes. Serve with warm tortillas.
