1½ | pounds 90/10 ground beef |
2 | large eggs, lightly beaten |
¾ | cup whole milk |
2/3 | cup panko |
1 | tablespoons dried parsley |
1/8 | teaspoon dried sage |
1/8 | teaspoon nutmeg |
1 | teaspoon salt |
¼ | teaspoon black pepper |
¼ | cup ketchup |
1 | teaspoon ground mustard |
2 | tablespoons brown sugar |
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Grease an 8x4x2-inch loaf pan or dish.
2. Thoroughly mix beef, eggs, milk, panko, parsley, sage, salt and pepper in large bowl. Lightly pat mixture into prepared pan.
3. Bake 45 minutes. Check if cooked through; if not, cook additional 15 minutes. Combine ketchup, sugar and mustard in bowl. Spread evenly over meat. Bake 15 minutes more.
