1¼ | cup almond paste |
¾ | cup granulated sugar |
2 | egg whites |
½ | cup powdered sugar |
¼ | cup cocoa powder |
1. Preheat oven to 350°F. Line baking sheets with parchment paper.
2. Beat almond paste, granulated sugar and egg whites until combined. Whisk together powdered sugar and cocoa powder. Add almond mixture to cocoa mixture and mix well.
3. Drop by tablespoonful onto prepared sheets. Bake for 17 to 20 minutes, until tops are cracked. Cool on sheet for 1 minute, then move to wire racks to finish cooling.
