2¼ | cups all-purpose flour |
1 | teaspoon baking powder |
½ | teaspoon salt |
1 | cup butter, softened |
¾ | cup granulated sugar |
¾ | cup packed brown sugar |
1 | teaspoon vanilla extract |
2 | large eggs |
2 | cups chocolate chips |
1. Preheat oven to 375°F.
2. Combine flour, baking powder and salt in bowl.
3. Beat butter, sugars and vanilla in large bowl until creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Beat in flour mixture. Fold in chocolate chips. Drop by round tablespoonful onto ungreased cookie sheets.
4. Bake at 375°F for 9 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets 2 minutes. Move to wire racks and cool completely.
Chocolate Chip Pan Cookie Variation: Grease 15×10” jelly roll pan. Prepare dough as above. Spread dough into prepared pan. Bake at 375°F for 20 to 25 minutes, or until golden brown. Cool in pan on wire rack.
