8ounces cream cheese, softened
½cup mayonnaise
5strips bacon, cooked crisp and crumbled
1teaspoon dried dill weed
1/8teaspoon pepper
cup chopped almonds, toasted

2.  Shape cheese into ball.  Roll in almonds until coated.  Place on serving plate.  Serve with assorted crackers.

Pine Cone Cheese Ball Variation: Prepare cheese mixture as above.  Use whole almonds instead of chopped.  Shape cheese mixture into two small pine cones on serving plate.  Starting at the narrow end, place almonds into the cheese on a slight angle, forming rows.  Garnish with rosemary twigs to resemble pine needles.
