8 | ounces rigatoni pasta |
2 | tablespoons unsalted butter |
1 | tablespoon Cajun seasoning |
1 | pound raw shrimp, peeled and deveined |
1 | cup heavy cream |
½ | cup grated parmesan cheese |
1. Prepare pasta according to package.
2. Meanwhile, heat large skillet over medium-high heat. Add butter and melt. Add Cajun seasoning and cook, stirring, for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and sauté until cooked through, about 8 minutes. Transfer cooked shrimp to plate and set aside.
3. Reduce heat to medium-low. Add heavy cream to skillet and cook, stirring constantly, until bubbling. Remove from heat and stir in parmesan cheese. Add cooked pasta and shrimp and stir to coat.
Note. Can stir steamed broccoli or other vegetable in at end.
