French Toast

Serves: 3
Start to Finish: 15 minutes

3large eggs
¼cup whole milk
¼teaspoon cinnamon
2teaspoons butter, separated
6slices bread
powdered sugar for sprinkling

1.  In medium bowl, whisk together eggs, milk and cinnamon.  Heat large skillet over medium heat.  Melt 1 teaspoon butter in skillet.  Dip 1 slice of bread in egg mixture, turning to evenly coat both sides.  Place bread in skillet and repeat with 2 more slices.  Cook bread slices until browned on both sides.  Transfer cooked bread slices to a plate and keep warm.  Repeat battering and cooking remaining 3 slices.  Serve warm, topped with a sprinkling of powdered sugar, and pancake syrup or honey.
