This recipe can be made with whatever fruits, nuts or other ingredients you like. Suggestions include apples and cinnamon, maple syrup and brown sugar, raisins, dried cranberries, shredded coconut and almond slices.

1¾ | cups water |
1 | cup old fashioned oats |
2 | tablespoons whole milk |
1 | medium banana, sliced |
2/3 | cup fresh blueberries |
¼ | cup walnuts, toasted |
2 | teaspoons honey |
1. Bring water to boil in small pot. Add oats and return to boil. Reduce heat to low and cook 5 minutes. Remove from heat, cover and let sit 3 minutes.
2. Stir milk into oatmeal. Portion oatmeal into bowls. Arrange fruit and nuts over oatmeal as desired. Drizzle honey over top. Serve immediately.
